All Children Reading Competition Program
The USAID and AusAID has constituted the development of the All Children Reading Competition Program, wherein they seek to discover life-changing innovations that will potentially improve the reading skills and low literacy levels among primary grade children.
Family Planning Services GrantsOPHS has recently established a funding opportunity entitled Family Planning Services Grants, a program wherein the OPHS, along with the HHS, will award grants to eligible individuals who seek to operate voluntary family planning services projects that would provide family planning services to everyone who desires to avail of such services, including low-income families in under-served areas.
Education Grants for Students Interested in Teaching CareersTeacher Education Assistance for College and Higher Education Grants (TEACH Grants) assist those undergraduate and graduate postsecondary students that agree to teach specific and specific subjects that are in high need at schools that primarily serve disadvantaged populations.
Student Loans Available Directly from the Federal GovernmentThere are different variations of a Federal Direct Student Loan available; these are dependent on whether or not the student is eligible for government assistance. Need based programs include the Stafford Loan and the Direct Subsidized Loan; while non-need based programs are the Direct PLUS program, and the Direct Unsubsidized Loan.
