The Mount Sanford Tribal Consortium (MSTC) is a tribal consortium of two federally recognized Tribal Councils of Chistochina and Mentasta Lake.
The consortium was established on June 1992 under the joint effort between Chistochina and Mentasta Village with the hopes of improving and protecting the interests of the Upper Ahtna indigenous people.
The Mt. Sanford Tribal Consortium's mission is "With honor, dignity, and respect, empowering our people and enhancing our traditional values to ensure a healthier and more positive future for our children." (continued...)
