a) The Employer Assisted Housing Program (EAHP) - This program is especially created for government employees of the District of Columbia who are seeking to purchase homes for the first times. Under this program, the borrower may be eligible apply for matching down payment funds up to $1,500 and a deferred loan of up to $10,000.

b) Negotiated Employee Affordable Home Purchase Program (NEAHP) - This program provides down payment and closing cost assistance to certain government employees of the District of Columbia whose positions are covered by specific collective bargaining agreements. The amount of assistance that may be given under this program can range from $3,000 and $26,500, depending on the employee's years of service.

c) Home Purchase Rehabilitation Pilot Program - This program is specially designed to assist first-time homebuyers in the District to purchase homes that require limited repairs to address health, safety and building code violations.

d) The Home Purchase Assistance Program - This program is DHCD's leading program for first-time homebuyers. It is designed to provide interest-free loans and closing cost assistance to qualified applicants, thereby providing them with the opportunity to purchase houses, condominiums, or cooperative units.
