The Idaho Housing and Finance Association, otherwise referred t as IDFA, is Idaho's uniquely created and organized financial institution and administrator of affordable housing resources.

Since its creation, the IHFA has been working towards the achievement of its primary agency mission which is to "provide funding for affordable housing opportunities in Idaho communities where they are most needed and when it is economically feasible."

The Idaho Housing and Finance Association has been running so many first time homebuyer programs that are especially designed to assist low to moderate income residents of Idaho in the process of acquiring quality housing opportunities.
