Among all of its first time homebuyer programs, the most notable are the following:

a) HOME Down Payment Closing Cost (DPCC) Assistance - This program is a zero percent interest, deferred loan that is available for borrowers with total household income of less than 80% of area median income. The borrowers can procure assistance ranging from $1,000 to a maximum of 3.5% of the purchase price, not to exceed $8,000.

b) Good Credit Rewards Down Payment and Closing Costs Assistance Program - This first time homebuyer program is especially intended for first time homebuyers whose household income are less than 140% of area median income. The program must be used in conjunction with an IdaMortgage product and is payable for up to 30 years with a fixed-interest rate.

c) Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP1) Program - This program was created as a result of the funds received by the State of Idaho in the amount of $19.6 million from the 2008 Housing & Economic Recovery Act to distribute toward the acquisition and rehabilitation of foreclosed or abandoned property in targeted areas throughout the state.
