The authority has established quite a number of programs in an attempt to assist low and moderate-income persons and families in the process of obtaining decent, safe and affordable housing. Among all of these programs, some of the most notable are the following:

a) Single Family Mortgage Program - This program is specially intended for first time homebuyers who are seeking for below-market interest rate loans that are payable for a maximum of 30 years. The program can also be used in conjunction with downpayment assistance programs which are also offered by the authority.

b) Cash Assistance Program - This program is designed to help borrowers secure downpayment and closing costs by allowing them to loan money on top of their primary housing loan.

c) New Production Initiative Program - This initiative is intended to enable developers to build affordable housing that complies with targeting requirements such as those which may be placed on projects by municipalities, thereby helping buyers access newly constructed affordable housing.
