The SEP will work towards providing financial and technical assistance to theses States by way of grants and cooperative agreements.

2) Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant (EECBG) Program - This program is funded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009. It intends to deploy the cleanest, cheapest, and most reliable energy technologies that are available in the market today.

3) Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) - The WAP will work in a way that will allow the DOE to provide funding to States, US overseas territories, and Indian tribal governments in an effort to help these institutions improve the energy performance in the dwellings of their needy constituents, thereby reducing their energy bill and making their homes more energy efficient.
