The Department of Transportation, more commonly referred to as DOT, is the principal agency that establishes the nation's transportation policy. It also oversees highways, mass transit, railroads, aviation, ports, pipelines, and other similar services.

The Department of Veterans Affairs, the last agency on our list, is the principal agency responsible for the management of the benefits for veterans of the US Armed Services.
