The Licensure Portability Grant Program also hopes to solicit projects that are clearly capable of serving national models and can determine definite solutions to overcoming State statutory and regulatory licensure barriers to cross-state practice of telemedicine for all the health professions.

HRSA plans to administer two grants per year with an estimated funding in the amount of $700,000 per award.

The Department of Health and Human Services, the primary agency funding the Licensure Portability Grant Program, is country's leading agency that is primarily responsible for the protection of the health and well-being of all Americans and the provision vital human services to everyone.
