b) Qualified veterans such as military members honorably discharged from any branch of the United States Armed Forces

c) Firefighters, Emergency Medical Technicians or Paramedics

d) Certified, accredited, and licensed health care workers who are working full-time as a medical resident, dental hygienist, nurse, nursing assistant, pharmacist, pharmacy technician, physician’s assistant, medical technician, technologist, or therapist

e) Police Officers employed by federal, state, county, municipal, and township governments

f) Teachers and Educators who are working full-time in an accredited schools and institutions of education

In addition, the following individuals should also satisfy the following eligibility requirements:

1) Must be categorized as a first time homebuyer, which entails that he/she has not owned and occupied a single house for the last three years

2) Must have a sufficient credit score

3) Must have a sufficient income that could cover the costs of the mortgages

The Ohio Heroes Program can also be utilized in conjunction with the OHFA's Downpayment Assistance Program that can be used to cover the a certain property's downpayment and closing costs.
